ARTIFACT: This is a great framed and autographed photograph of United States Navy Vice Admiral Charles S. Williams. Williams was a World War I recipient of the Navy Cross, an award given for either heroism or distinguished service.

VINTAGE: Circa 1918-1920.

SIZE: Approximately 12-1/4" in height and 11-3/4" in width (base is about 2-3/8" thick).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted wood, photograph, glass, paperboard backing, nails, felt bottom.

ATTACHMENT: Photograph swivels on two posts attached to stand.

MARKINGS: SINCERELY YOURS. C. S. WILLIAMS.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The photo shows very light abrasions to the frame and slight fading.
