ARTIFACT: Fantastic period 1880's large cabinet photo of the Colonel Sise No. 2 Steam Fire Engine of Portsmouth, New Hampshire in great period frame. The photo shows the engine and two horses parked in front of the fire house. The sign above the garage doors reads: "ORGANIZED 1802 2 COLONEL SISE 2" and the steeple of the South Church on State St. can be seen in the background. The period frame shows a nice, wide frame.

VINTAGE: Circa 1880's

SIZE: Approximately 18-1/4" x 15-1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cabinet photo, matte, wood frame, wire

ATTACHMENT: Wire for wall hanging

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a firefighting and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-RLB-16 LAAGEX5/16

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The frame shows minor to moderate wear, the photo is remarkable, overall excellent condition.
