Fabulous, Huge 1920's NY Bureau of Motor Vehicles Inspector Badge by Bastian Brothers in Rolled Gold

Fabulous, huge 1920's New York Bureau of Motor Vehicles Inspector Badge in rolled gold by Bastian Brothers. This stunning badge features a two dimensional, nicely detailed Great Seal of the State of New York atop a large, navy blue enameled shield that reads: "STATE OF NEW YORK BUREAU OF MOTOR VEHICLES INSPECTOR" and the base of the badge is numbered: "154". The reverse features a nice maker's mark: "B. B. CO. R.G."

Rolled gold, brass, enamel.

Vertical pin with drop in locking swivel catch.
