This is an extremely rare United States Navy Air Crew wing in sterling silver made in Australia by Sheridan of Perth. The wing reads AIR CREW and shows an anchor at center and three stars at top.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:13/16" height and 2" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with gold-plated accents.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with "C" catch.
MARKINGS:SHERIDAN 6 HAY ST ST SILVER.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army Air Forces wing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAGEX10 LDGEX5/10 SDJJX9/12
CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): Wing shows medium wear and tarnish.
