This is an extremely rare World War II local theater-made jacket patch for the United States Navy motor torpedo boat (MTB) RON-15, a unit which saw action in the Mediterranean. The patch shows a winged dragon-like creature riding a missile and reads MTB RON 15.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:4-3/4" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt patch embroidered in multi-colored cotton threads with muslin backing.
