ARTIFACT: This is an extremely rare World War I US Air Service unofficial "e;Ace"e; pin.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI.

SIZE: About 1-9/16" x 3/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver with gold-plated stars.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with a "come-under" locking catch.

MARKINGS: Maker's mark followed by STERLING.
