ARTIFACT:

This is a rare World War I United States Air Service military police badge. The badge is oval and reads UNITED STATES SIGNAL CORPS MILITARY POLICE 195 AVIATION MECHANICS TRAINING SCHOOL.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War I.

SIZE:

2-9/16" height and 1-3/4" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-plated brass with painted letters.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical safety-style pin.

MARKINGS:

NORTHWESTERN STAMP WORKS ST. PAUL, MINN.
