This is an extremely rare USCG US Coast Guard Chief Surfman Hat Badge with beautiful rope-work detail.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1920's.

SIZE:

About 1-3/4" in width by 1" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel and gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical tongue-style "C" catch pin.

MARKINGS:

NS Meyer Shield Makers mark and MEYER METAL.
