ARTIFACT: Rare, early 1920's United States Coast Guard Surfman Collar Insignia by Meyer in Meyer Metal. The insignia is an early dull finish brass depicting a life preserver surmounted by crossed oars.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920's

SIZE: Approximately 1 1/16" square at the widest points

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin on with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: Maker Marked. MEYER METAL.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The collar insignia shows very light wear and tarnish, overall nice patina.
