ARTIFACT: This is an extremely rare badge for the 1503rd company of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). The badge is shaped like a heraldic crest and shows a panther and a forest flanking a banner that reads CO 1503 CCC. At the top of the badge is a profile of an armored knight's head and the badge also reads BUILDER OF MEN.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: 1-1/2" height and 1-1/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with multi-colored enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under "C" catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a CCC badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VFEX05 LAFEX SACEX12/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Pin is in nice shape but has some small areas of enamel missing.
