An incredibly rare Italian national glider program wing which was the predecessor to the Italian armed forces glider program.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:3.5" wide by 1.5" high.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated and hard-baked enamel on steel.
ATTACHMENT:Long horizontal pin and simple safety pin catch.
MARKINGS:Stamped on fastener "F M LORIOLI & CASTELI, V. BRONZETTI 25, MILANO." Initials "MN" scratched on back.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a large collection of Italian badges, which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VCJJX07
CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): Very minor wear and light tarnishing, truly a wonderful example of this wing.
