Extremely Rare 1820s Fire Bucket Named to Thos B. Newhall, Lynn Fire Club, Massachusetts

This is an extremely rare circa late 1820s fire bucket named to T.(Thomas) B. Newhall of the Lynn Fire Club of Lynn, Massachusetts. The Newhalls were an old and prestigious Lynn family: Thomas B. was an attorney and founding member of the Lynn Fire Club, which adopted its constitution January 2, 182The bucket is wood wrapped in stitched green painted leather with black trim and lettering.

Circa late 1820s.

Approximately 13-1/4" in height and 8-1/8" in diameter (at rim).

Wood wrapped in painted leather.

Loop handle (one is missing).
