ARTIFACT:

This is an Extremely Rare Yonkers New York Police 2nd Issue, 1st Type, Sergeant Coat & Hat Badge Used only from 1898 to 190Unmarked, but made by S.A. French.

VINTAGE:

1898 - 1902.

SIZE:

Approximately Coat Badge: 2-7/8" in height x 2-1/8" in width. Hat Badge: 2-1/4" in height x 2-5/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Coat badge: Nickel-plated Nickel. Hat Badge: Nickel plated Nickel and Nickel-plated brass loops.

ATTACHMENT:

Coat Badge: Vertical Kick pin with Tube type catch. Hat Badge: Two Loops.
