Description
This is an extremely rare World War II 3rd Contingent Operational Group shoulder patch in bullion. This patch was most likely made in northern Italy or in the Balkans. It came to us along with an English paratrooper wing made in Egypt (sold separately Ð please see link at bottom of page for information).
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-15/16" in height and 2-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool embroidered in bullion threads, partial paper backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows some light wear and areas of mild tarnish.
