This is an Extremely Rare, One of 2 known, 1880's Chinese Consulate Transit Inspector Badge by J.C. Irvine.

VINTAGE:

1880s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-3/16" in height x 1-7/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel plated nickel with painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with C catch.
