This is a extremely rare ca 1980's - 90's US Coast Guard Intelligence Agent Badge. Made by Blackinton.

Circa 1980's - 90's.

Approximately 2" in height x 1-1/2" in width.

24KT Karatclad HGE.

Horizontal pin with drop-in locking catch.

"BLACKINTON 24KT KARATCLAD HGE" (Karat Clad: A registered trade name for heavy gold electroplate and it must have a gold coating of at least 100 microns. That would be thicker than most gold-filled.)
