This is an Extremely Rare & Beautiful 1882 Staten Island Athletic Club I.S Mile Bicycle Race Silver Medal.
In Original Case of Staten Island Jewelers Barten & Rice at 20 John St. (Staten Island) NY.
VINTAGE:
1882.
SIZE:
Approximately Box: 3-3/4" in height x 2-3/8" in width. Medal: 3-1/4" in height x 1-3/4" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Coin Silver (Tested) with hard-fired, blue enamel, nickel findings, and a bronze disc at center.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal T-style pin with Tube type C catch.

CONDITION:
8 (Excellent): The badge shows little to minor wear, with tarnish. Overall, it is in excellent condition.
6 (Fine): The front of the box is dry and damaged, but the back and inside of the box is very condition.
