This is an Extremely Rare 1956 Portsmouth Air Force Base New Hampshire License Plate. Only Existed as this name for a little over a year, Renamed Pease Air Force Base on 7 September.
Portsmouth Air Force Base opened in 195In 1957, the base was renamed in honor of New Hampshire native and decorated World War II bomber pilot Captain Harl Pease.

SIZE:Approximately 12" in width x 6" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Painted steel.
