ARTIFACT: This is a United States Navy Construction Battalion or "Seabees" patch from early on in World War II. It reads CB (instead of the later "SEABEES") and shows a bumblebee with a sailor's hat holding a variety of construction tools with four flight lines behind him.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-7/16" height and 2-3/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TAX89 LBHX1/11 SBHX5/11

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows some light wear and small areas of discoloration on the border.
