ARTIFACT: This is an early World War II enameled badge for the United States Navy Seabees, or members of the United States Navy Construction Battalions. The body of the badge is an enameled United States flag with a Seabee in relief at its center. The badge is by Metal Arts of Rochester, New York.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: About 1" in width by 1-1/4" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass with enamel details.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with a "come-under" locking clasp.

MARKINGS: METAL ARTS CO. ROCH. N.Y.
