ARTIFACT: This is an early World War II United States Air Corps Training Service (ACTS) instructor badge. The badge is rectangular, reads INSTRUCTOR ACTS and shows a winged propeller at center.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: N.S. MEYER NEW YORK, and shield maker mark.

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The badge has some light wear and tarnish and a few small pieces of enamel are missing.
