This is an early World War II United States Air Corps Training Service (ACTS) instructor badge. The badge is rectangular, reads INSTRUCTOR ACTS and shows a winged propeller at center.
VINTAGE:Circa early World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-5/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER NEW YORK, and shield maker mark.
