This is a World War II United States Air Corps Training Service instructor badge. The badge is rectangular, reads INSTRUCTOR ACTS and shows a winged propeller at center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1941's.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" x 1-5/8"
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Blue plastic with 22 karat gold inlay.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with "C" catch
MARKINGS:22 KT. GOLD INLAY GEMSCO, N.Y.
