Early 1970's Market Square Pub (Portsmouth, New Hampshire) Painted Sign

This is a circa early 1970s sign for the "all new" Market Square Pub in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The sign is painted masonite and drew in patrons at about the time when Portsmouth was on the threshold of entering its renaissance stage.
