ARTIFACT:

This is a circa early 1900s (or earlier) leather postcard of the Warner House (or Mansion), in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The Warner House is a popular tourist attraction, it being the oldest urban mansion made of brick (circa 1716-1718) still standing in New England. The postcard is by the Hy-Sil Manufacturing Company, of Boston, Massachusetts, a company that closed its doors sometime in the early 1900s. It has not been written upon.

VINTAGE:

Circa early 1900s (or earlier).

SIZE:

Approximately 5-5/16" in length and 3-3/16" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Leather.
