Description
This is a bullion Mohawk Airlines pilot wing from the early 1960s.
VINTAGE:Circa 1962.
SIZE:About 4-1/8" in width by 1-1/4" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver wire, tinsel, and bullion embroidered on black wool felt. Wing is sewn to a piece of blue-grey gabardine wool that was part of the pilot's uniform.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn on to garment.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): Light signs of wear and tarnishing. The gabardine uniform piece that the wing is sewn to has a couple of nips, but the black wool of the wing itself is perfect and free from signs of mothing.
