Description
This is a circa 1960s bullion wing for Communist Poland's (Polskie Linie Lotnicze) LOT Airlines. Established in January 1929, LOT is one of the oldest continuously operating airlines. The wing is in gold bullion on wool and has a V formation at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 15/16" in diameter and 3-3/8" in thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in bullion and silk/cotton threads, paper backing.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing has some slight tarnish and one very small spot at the bottom of the V where the bullion has separated slightly.
