This is an early 1950s lapel badge for the Mormon women's Relief Society by Balfour. The Relief Society has been in existence since 1842, and the group's motto, "Charity never faileth", is enameled on the badge.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height and 15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-filled with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:LGB (Balfour) 1/5 10K GF.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The pin is in beautiful condition with very light wear.
