ARTIFACT:

This is a circa early 1950s Cuban customs official's identification photo and credentials booklet. The cover reads REPUBLICO DE CUBA MINISTERIO DE HACIENDA ADUANA DE LA HABANA CARNET DE IDENTIDAD (Republic of Cuba Treasury Customs of Havana License of Identity). The owning official's name was Carlos A. Perez.

VINTAGE:

Circa early 1950s.

SIZE:

Approximately 4-1/4" in height and 2-15/16" in width (closed).

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Cloth covered cardboard, paper, photograph.

ATTACHMENT:

Glued binding.

MARKINGS:

745 ABF JEFE SECC.

6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The card shows some moderate wear to the corners and has some minor staining inside.
