ARTIFACT:
This is a circa early 1950s worker identification badge for the Lockheed-California Company Facilities Engineering, a part of Lockheeds Aeronautical Systems group. The badge is by the Whitehead & Hoag Company and is named to W. Prodanovic. This badge reads FACILITIES ENGINEERING in a green banner at bottom and has some orange rays at the top. VINTAGE:
Circa early 1950s (Korean War era).
SIZE:
Approximately 2-1/4 in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
Plated brass, celluloid, paper.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:
WHITEHEAD-HOAG.
