Description
This is an Eastern Massachusetts Street Railway advertising sign for bus service from the early 1950s. As transportation modes progressed, streetcar lines were slowly replaced with bus routes. The sign is aluminum painted in a bold orange, blue and green and shows a minuteman, the classic Massachusetts symbol of reliability.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 12" in height and 24" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Painted aluminum.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The sign has some light to moderate abrasions and scuffing, and three small spots where paint has worn away.
