This is a circa early 1940s shoulder title for British Overseas Airways Corporation, which flew from 1939 until it merged with BEA to form British Airways in 197The title is a simple arc reading BOAC in gold bullion.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 3-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in gold bullion.
ATTACHMENT:Three metal snaps.
