ARTIFACT:
This is a beautiful early 1910s employee badge for the Malden Electric Company in Malden, Massachusetts. Malden Electric was a provider of energy for the greater Boston area, and a member of the Boston chapter of the Illuminating Engineering Society as early as 1917. The badge is ornate and beautifully enameled.
VINTAGE:
Circa early 1910s.
SIZE:
Approximately 2" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Gilt brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:
Vertical kick pin on bar with tongue-style C catch.
