This is an early 1900's Special Deputy US Marshal six point star, which reads SPECIAL DEPUTY U. S. MARSHAL.

VINTAGE:

Circa early 1900's.

SIZE:

2-7/16" height and 2-1/8" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-plated brass with black paint.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical safety pin.

7 (Very Fine): Badge shows some scuffing and the painted letters are somewhat worn away.
