This is a Direct Embroidered CBI China Burma India Theater made Insignia United States Army Air Force Brigadier General Francis M. Barry.

Approximately Embroidered Pilot wing: 2-5/8" in height x 4-1/2" in width. Embroidered Shoulder Straps: 5" in height x 1-7/8" in width. Embroidered Uniform collar: 2-1/2" in height x 3-1/2" in width. USAAF Headquarters Patch: 2-7/16" in height x 2-3/4" in width. Service Ribbon: 3/8" in height x 1-7/16" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Embroidered Pilot wing, Shoulder Straps, Uniform collar: Embroidered with Silk & Cotton threads on Twill. USAAF Headquarters Patch: Embroidered Silk & Cotton threads on wool felt. Service Ribbon: Silk & Cotton threads, Nickell plate with brass findings.
