Decorative Brass Door Bell & Exterior Pull Date on Back (1882)

This is a large decorative doorbell with an exterior pull, both in brass. The last patent mark for the bell is on its reverse (1882), and the pull has a date mark as well. The bell has a lovely radiating flower and leaf design. This handsome antique set works great!

Circa 1880s.

Bell: approximately 2-3/8" in height and 4-3/4" in diameter; pull plate: approximately 3-7/16" in height and 2-3/16" in width (pull is about 5" in length).

Brass, iron.

Bell: two holes for screws; pull: two holes for screws.

Bell: PAT. JUN(?) 4, 1878 (?)1882; pull: PAT. MAY 11 1880.
