ARTIFACT: This is a rare 1944 dated bell in .800 silver from Capri, where some of the United States Army Air Forces took a rest and relaxation leave. The bell hangs from a chain and reads San Michele on one face and CAPRI 1944 on the other.

VINTAGE: Circa 1944.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 13/16" in width (at top).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: .800 silver.

ATTACHMENT: Bar, chain.

MARKINGS: C 800.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII USAAF souvenir collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay MCJX14 LADEX5/14 SeADEX2/15

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The bell has light wear and tarnish.
