Rare 1944 Dated USAAF "Capri" Bell in .800 Silver

This is a rare 1944 dated bell in .800 silver from Capri, where some of the United States Army Air Forces took a rest and relaxation leave. The bell hangs from a chain and reads San Michele on one face and CAPRI 1944 on the other.

Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 13/16" in width (at top).
