ARTIFACT: Rare 1930s Bell Aircraft employee lapel pin. Bell was an aircraft manufacturer, founded in 1935, most notable for the Bell X-1, the first supersonic aircraft. The company also provided a variety of fighter aircraft during WWII. The lapel pin is enameled brass and reads: BELL AIR CRAFT.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s

SIZE: Approximately x

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Gilt brass and enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post and stabilizer pin with disc backing.

MARKINGS: BASTIAN BROS. CO. ROCHESTER, N.Y. MPR - PIU on disc backing

ITEM NOTES: This is from an aircraft manufacturing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAX15 LGEX2/15 SGEX01/17

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The lapel shows light wear, nearly all the gilt and enamel details remain fully intact.
