ARTIFACT: This is a cool World War II liberty pass issued to a sailor from the Fargo Barracks at the USN Receiving Station, Boston, Massachusetts. The shield-shaped pass is in wartime materials: painted pressed paper.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-9/16" in height and 1-7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted pressed paper.

ATTACHMENT: Hole.

MARKINGS: 7-F 140 on front.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The pass has some small spots of light to medium wear.
