Cool WWII era 1944 Ferndale, Michigan Newsboy badge #4 by Superior Stamp & Stationery Co., Detroit. The center of the octagonal badge shows the number "4" and surrounding it reads: "CITY OF FERNDALE NEWSBOY 1944" in black painted detail. The reverse shows a maker mark that reads: "SUPERIOR S & S CO. DETROIT"

Circa 1944.
SIZE:
Approximately 1-1/2" x 1-1/2".
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Chrome plated brass, black paint.
ATTACHMENT:
Vertical safety pin with a "C" type catch.
