ARTIFACT: This is a cool circa 1943 chained "V for Victory" homefront pin with an aviation theme. The pin is a painted American flag and a "V" with a small plane. the pin is made in white metal, a wartime shortages material.

VINTAGE: Circa 1943 (World War II).

SIZE: Pins: approximately 5/8" in height and 5/8" in width (each); chain about 1-3/4" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated and painted white metal.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pins with squared-off C catches, chain.

MARKINGS: LN on reverse of flag.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII homefront collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. LDEX3/14

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The pin has some light wear and tarnish with a few bits of the paint missing.
