This is a 1928 "Studebaker Sheriff" badge with painted accents. The name Studebaker was trusted enough in the 1920s for over 80% of the counties in Arizona to issue the cars to their sheriffs.
VINTAGE:Circa 1928.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/4" in height and 2-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with painted details.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge has some abrasions on its front and some tiny bits of the lettering have worn away.
