Description
This is a circa 1920s or 1930s unissued worker badge for the Studebaker automobile factory in South Bend, Indiana. Studebaker was a nineteenth century company producing wagons long before it came out with its signature car. It is a two-piece badge and has no number as an issued badge would have. The badge has a very Deco design and is by L. J. Imber of Chicago, Illinois.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass, nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin on back plate with drop-in locking swivel catch, hole.
