Civil War Officer's Cap Insignia and Box They Were Found Inside

This is a Civil War United States Army officer's cap insignia and the box they were found inside.

Circa Civil War.

Box: about 3-3/16" in width by 1-7/8" in height; horn insignia: about 2-7/8" in width by 1-3/4" in height; "2": about 3/8" in width by 5/8" in height; "E": about 3/8" in width by 1/2" in height.

Insignia: stamped brass; box: cardboard and paper.

"2" & "E" each have single stick pins.

None.

6 (Fine+): Minor wear and tarnishing to insignia; horn is missing attachments; box is worn around the edges.
