ARTIFACT:

This is a movie wardrobe prop from the 1989 film "Glory", a story loosely based upon the real life Colonel Robert Gould Shaw of the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry. It is a Civil War era kepi (hat) worn by the Fort Clemens blacksmith character.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1989.

SIZE:

Approximate size 7 (no tag).

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool, leather, mesh lining.

ATTACHMENT:

Chin strap with buckle.

MARKINGS:

FT. CLEMENS BLACK SMITH.
