ARTIFACT: This is a Extremely Rare CIVIL WAR United States Navy Officer Kepi Badge in Bullion Wool. The badge shows an anchor centered above a bullion wreath. This example was worn by all ranks, except Admiral.

VINTAGE: Circa Civil War

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bullion embroidered wool, treated gauze backing, cotton thread

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn on.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USN Civil War collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEJM19 LAEGEX02/08/20 SLAGIEX03/20/21 SADJJX03/04/25

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows moderate wear and age, nearly all the bullion details remain intact, small spot of moth hole on the corner and most of black paper in reverse is still remain inatct, overall nice patina and very fine condition.
