Description
This is a circa late 1960s jacket patch for the United States Air Force 450th Bombardment Wing. Reorganized in November 1962 from its former identity as the 450th Tactical Fighter Wing, the wing provided both KC-135 and B-52 support in Southeast Asia 196The patch is fully embroidered and shows ac rest bearing an atomic symbol and a vine entwined around a sword.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 4-1/4" in height and 4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered cotton/polyester threads.
