Circa 1960s USAF 401st Tactical Fighter Wing Jacket Patch

This is a circa 1960s jacket patch for the United States Air Force 401st Tactical Fighter Wing (TFW). The 401st TFW had both overseas and stateside squadron deployments during the 1960s: they supported NATO internationally as well as participated in the Cuban Missile Crisis from Homestead AFB, Florida. The patch is fully embroidered and shows a wavy rainbow S-curve intersecting a black and white checkered band and four spears at center.

Approximately 4-3/4" in height and 4-1/2" in width.

Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.
