ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1980's pilot hat badge first issue for US Air, which has its roots in All American Aviation (circa 1937). All American became Allegheny Airlines in 1953, and US Air was later born in 1979. In 1996 the airline changed its name to US Airways.

VINTAGE: Circa 1980's.

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/8" in height and 1-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single post, screwback is missing. Two posts with clutch-backs.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows some light wear only.
