Circa 1950's Capitol Airways Pilot Hat Badge 3rd Issue by Russell Uniform Co

This is a circa 1950s pilot hat badge 3rd issue for Capitol Airlines by Russell Uniform. Capitol was formed shortly following World War II by some ex-AAF pilots and went bankrupt in the 1980s. The badge shows a white and aqua blue enameled globe at its center.

Circa 1950's.

Approximately 2-1/16" in height x 2-7/8" in width.

Gold-plated brass with enamel.

Single screw post with disc backing and two stabilization posts.
