This is a circa 1950-1954 United States Navy's USS Conger SS-477 submarine jacket patch. The patch is round and shows a cigarette-smoking, missile-toting conger eel by a submarine labeled 47The patch reads USS CONGER SS-477.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950-1954.
SIZE:5" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Canvas patch embroidered in multi-colored silk/cotton threads with muslin backing.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Patch has some wear at edge and slight spots of discoloration.
